She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Davis and Wilda Lineberry Davis; and her siblings, Blanche Carter, Sadie Wooten, Roxie Hobson, Maye Jarvis, Faye Brown, Pearl Carter, Laura Wall and Lewis Davis.
She is survived by: her husband Jimmie Smitherman; her son Wayne Dale Smitherman (Debra); her grandsons, Erick (Rebecca) and Barry (Caroline); and her great grandchild Colton Smitherman. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to New Hope Church.
