He was predeceased by: his parents, William Rousey and Kathryn Rousey. He is survived by: his wife Doris Spainhour Rousey; his children, Kathryn Carpenter (Anthony) and David Rousey; his siblings, Charles Rousey (Hazel), Tommy Rousey (Vivian) and Virginia Dye; and his granddaughters, Kaylee Carpenter and Kelsey Carpenter.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Gospel Light Baptist Church (890 Walkertown Guthrie Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27101). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
