He was predeceased by: his wife Susie Lane Greer; and his sons, Aldrick "Knuckles" and John H. "Spunky" Greer. He is survived by: his children, Cynthia D. Greer (Ray), Marie A. Greer, Teresa McLean (Johnny), Leonard Greer (Sonya) and Jermaine C. Greer. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; and 34 great and great-great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Russell Funeral Home (822 Carl Russell Ave, Winston-Salem, NC 27101). Visitation will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the St. Stephen Missionary Church (5000 Noble St, Winston-Salem, NC 27105). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
