It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Scott May of Winston Salem, North Carolina, who passed away on December 11, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. William Joseph May and Doris Elizabeth Burke May; and his brothers, William Joseph May Jr., Charles Burke May and James Bryan May.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Royal May; his sons, Joseph Andrew May (Jessica) of Apex, NC and William Scott May (Kara Iskenderian) of Alexandria, VA; his granddaughter Elizabeth Therese May of Apex, NC; his brother Robert Eugene May of Lexington, NC; his nieces, Jenny Ferguson (High Point), Chrissy Long of Clemmons, NC and Meredith May (Laurel, MD); and his nephew William Tucker of Atlanta, GA.
