He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Moore and Erma Moore. He is survived by: his wife Doris G. Moore; and his grandson Tyson Moore. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Grace Presbyterian Church (3901 Carver School Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27105). Visitation will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Salisbury National Cemetery (501 Statesville Blvd, Salisbury, NC 28144).
