Sloan, Jr. of Winston-Salem and Barbara Ann Clifford of Winston-Salem; his sister Caroline Frances Sloan of Hendersonville, NC; his grandmother Margaret; his uncle John Clifford (Patti) of Charlottesville, VA; and his aunts, Anne Marie Clifford of Hillsboro, OH and MaryAnn Sloan (Skip) of Tryon, NC. He is also survived by many first cousins, including their spouses and their children.
