Jonathan Henry Witherspoon Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jonathan Henry Witherspoon (Winston Salem, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 6, 2025 at the age of 83. He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Harlan Witherspoon and Annie Pearl Danner Witherspoon; and his brother David. He is survived by: his sister Rachel; his sons, Jon (Sandra) and Derek (Melissa); and his grandchildren, Jessica, Sarah, Ashley, Bradley, Caroline and Jake. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home (3315 Silas Creek Pkwy, Winston-Salem, NC 27103). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Burke Memorial Park (2506 Burke Memorial Park Rd, Morganton, NC 28655).
