He was predeceased by: his parents, Prudence Cecil and Courtney Halker of Thomasville, NC.; and his brother Timothy Halker. He is survived by: his wife Petra Meredith Halker; his son Bryan Joseph Halker; his daughter-in-law Jessica; and his siblings, Penny Kennedy of Thomasville, Becky Crowson (Gilbert) of Winston-Salem, Chris Halker (Vicki) of Thomasville, Judy Halker of New Bern, Abigail Wilson (Howard) of Garland, Robert Halker (Susan) of High Point, Martin Halker of Thomasville, Stephanie Tysinger of High Point and Andrea Spurgeon (Barry) of High Point. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Kennedy Christian Life Center at Pleasant Grove (1393 Hasty School Rd, Thomasville, NC 27360). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Pleasant Grove Methodist Church (1393 Hasty School Rd, Thomasville, NC 27360).
