He is survived by: his wife Petra Meredith Halker; his son Bryan Joseph Halker; his daughter-in-law Jessica; and his siblings, Penny Kennedy of Thomasville, Becky Crowson (Gilbert) of Winston-Salem, Chris Halker (Vicki) of Thomasville, Judy Halker of New Bern, Abigail Wilson (Howard) of Garland, Robert Halker (Susan) of High Point, Martin Halker of Thomasville, Stephanie Tysinger of High Point and Andrea Spurgeon (Barry) of High Point. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
