He was predeceased by: his parents, Troy Trotter and Bernice McDowell Trotter. He is survived by: his wife Jessie Trotter; his daughters, Lisa Leonard (Buddy) of Myrtle Beach and Janice Jenson of Greensboro; his grandson Jeffery Leonard; his great grandchild Samantha Leonard; and his close friend Charles Payne.
