She was predeceased by: her parents, Merrill Charles Beecher and Martha Helen Youry Beecher; her son Michael B. Halverson; her sister Penelope S. Collins; her brother-in-law Kenneth L Knight; and her pet Ben II.
She is survived by: her daughter Anne C. Fleming (Greg) of Winston-Salem; her daughter-in-law Laurie S. Halverson of Southport, NC; her grandsons, Charles F. Halverson (Charlotte) of Durham, NC and Matthew S. Halverson of Charlotte, NC; her sisters, Pamela B. Buckley (Jerald) of Los Altos, CA and Patricia B. Knight of Tucker, GA; her brother-in-law Henry J. Collins of Statesboro, GA; her cousin Stephen C. Mathers (Deanna) of Galesburg, IL; and her caregiver Farrah Eller. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
