We are sad to announce that, on February 16, 2026, at the age of 69, Karen Staton Rose (Winston Salem, North Carolina), born in Atlanta, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Rocker T. Staton Jr. and Esther W. Staton; and her brothers, Lee and Ted Staton (Nancy). She is survived by: her husband Rusty Rose; her children, Heather Barrier (Shane Thomas), Ashley Hill (Blake) and Russ Rose (Courtney); and her grandchildren, Livy Barrier, Maya Barrier, Kessler Hill, Crosby Hill, Arden Hill, Ella Rose and Adeline Rose. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
