She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Curtis and Margaret Carson Calloway Hardy; and her sister Patricia Ann "Patti" Hardy Miller. She is survived by: her husband Russell Gene Simpson; her daughter Allison; her son-in-law Josh Allen of Pfafftown; her son David Simpson; her grandchildren, Kayleigh Allen of Pfafftown, Owen Allen of Pfafftown and Liam Allen of Myrtle Beach, SC; her sister Brenda Hardy Davis of Mount Airy; her brother-in-law Dennis Miller of Thurmond; and her nieces, Beth Gordon of Mount Airy, Laura Hazelwood (Josh) of Dobson and Olivia Bodenhamer (Austin) of Dobson.
