He was predeceased by: his parents, Reverend Joseph Cade and Rosie Lee Davis Cade; his grandparents, Daniel Cade, Sr., Lelar Smith Cade, Lester Davis, Sr. and Naomi Davis; and his aunts and uncles, Gurline Overton of Flint, MI, Blanche McEachern of Atlanta, GA, Beulah Payne of New York, NY, Louise Cade of Lumberton, NC, Smith Cade, Jr. (Shaun) of Missouri and Lawrence Cade of San Diego, CA.

He is survived by: his siblings, Rosie Lee Davis Cade, Joann Cade of Lumberton, NC, Bridgett Cade of Lumberton, NC, Priscilla Edwards of San Antonio, TX and Ronald Lee "Ronnie" Cade of Lumberton, NC; his niece Anshawnd Cade of Lumberton, NC; and his nephews, Ronald Lee Cade "Little Ronnie" Singletary of Fayetteville, NC and Quentin Lee Cade Singletary of Asheboro, NC. He is also survived by great-nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
