Kim Tyler Whitehurst Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Kim Tyler Whitehurst (Winston Salem, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Juanita Marflin Horner and James Elbert Whitehurst; his brother Jim Whitehurst; and his son-in-law Spencer Reaves. He is survived by: his children, Sarah Whitehurst (Alec Shellberg), Sheila Whitehurst, Shannon Whitehurst (Reid Nance), Sam Whitehurst (Keri), Stephen Whitehurst and Syd Whitehurst; his grandchildren, Amelia, Killian, Natalya, Sylvia, Teagan and River; his siblings, Alton Whitehurst (Vivian), Kathy W. Burrow and Tina W. Nash (Steve); his niece Danielle; his great-niece Izzy; his nephews, Jon, Jason and Lee Jr.; and the mother of his children Karen Whitehurst.

Visitation was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Salem Funeral & Cremation Service (2951 Reynolda Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27106). A celebration of life was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Reynolda Church (2200 Reynolda Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27106).
