It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Eugene Daniels Sr. of Winston Salem, North Carolina, who passed away on February 27, 2026, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Roy and Eula Mae Hickman Daniels; his siblings, Melvin Lamar Daniels, Sr., Bobby Daniels, John D. Daniels, James E. Daniels, Thomas L, John Curtis "Jimmy" Daniels, Clarence "Sneak" Daniels, Joseph Daniels, Ruth Lackey, Eloise Daniels, Leila Daniels Woods and Mary Jean Daniels Gray; and his grandson Lamar Daniels.
He is survived by: his sons, Anthony Daniels (Kimberly) of Statesville, Travis Daniels (Iris) of Statesville, Vernon Daniels (Charlene) of Winston-Salem and Larry Daniels, Jr. (April) of Winston-Salem; his stepchildren, Davette Napper, Deve Napper and DeShannon Napper; and his sisters, Mildred Dolleither Daniels of Statesville and Louise Daniels of Statesville. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
