Laurel Midkiff Mabe Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on January 11, 2026, at the age of 77, Laurel Midkiff Mabe of Winston Salem, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Midkiff and Lena Midkiff (Dunlap) of Yawkey, WV.; and her sisters, Carla McMasters, Lea Bushor, June Gage and Frances Lewis.
She is survived by: her sister Dorothy McClure (Dottie); her children, Vicky Hayes and Robbie Hayes; her grandchildren, Aaron, Jesse Ball, Amber Houston, Rachel Jenkins and Ryan Vest; and her great grandchildren, Carli, Callie Jenkins, Arya, Perseus, Rostan and Hayes Houston. She is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
