We are sad to announce that, on March 22, 2026 we had to say goodbye to Lionel Francis Branscomb of Winston Salem, North Carolina. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Branscomb and Opal Branscomb; his wife Ramona Wilkes Branscomb; and his son-in-law John Hering. He is survived by: his children, Patience Hering of Coppell, TX, Laura Cody (Matthew) of Winston-Salem, NC and Lionel Branscomb II (Magda) of Houston, TX; his grandchildren, Priscilla Carr (Joshua), Andrew Cody (Pao), Caroline Wall (Robert), Emily Cody, Hannah Branscomb, Natalie Cody, Jacob Hering (Kaiti) and Eli Branscomb; and his great grandchildren, Conner Wall, Joy Carr, Jubilee Carr and Blaine Cody.

In lieu of flowers, Lionel requested donations be made to the Rotary Foundation, 14280 Collections Center Dr. Chicago, IL 60693.
