With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Lonnie Estes Sprinkle (Winston Salem, North Carolina), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Lonnie left this world on July 21, 2025 at the age of 97, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lelia Sprinkle and Colie Sprinkle; his wife Buna D. Sprinkle; and his siblings, Cecelia Richardson, Callie Burge, Pauline Dehart and Howard "Holland Gray" Sprinkle.
He is survived by: his sons, C. L. Sprinkle (Linda) and David Sprinkle; and his grandchildren, April Sprinkle Samuelson, Chad Sprinkle and Niki Snow. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the J. C. Green Funeral Home (10301 NC-109, Winston-Salem, NC 27107). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be directed to a charity of the donor's choice.
