She is survived by: her sister Lou Ella South of Boone; her niece Dr. Shannon South (Pete Sansbury) of Asheville, NC; her nephew John South (Kirstin South) of Raleigh, NC; her stepchildren, Brian Elliott (Yen Elliott) of Clemmons, Keira, Lela and Nico; her friend Holly Fox; her great-niece Aleah Seay; her great-nephews, Finley and Carson South; Millie of Winston-Salem, NC..
