She was predeceased by: her parents, Lyda N. Royster and Duvall T. Royster; and her brother David N. Royster. She is survived by: her daughter Lyda Adams Carpen (Börje); her grandchildren, Elina Carpen and Erik Carpen of Greensboro, NC.; her brothers, D. Thomas Royster, Jr. (Jennifer) of Bermuda Run, NC and John D. Royster (Susan) of Bermuda Run, NC; and her friends, Nancy Chandler Nathan of Winston-Salem and Susan Epling of Smith Mountain Lake, VA.. She is also survived by several nephews and a niece.
