She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Eugene Flanagan and Virginia Lawniczak Flanagan. She is survived by: her husband Mel (Mel); her siblings, Tom Flanagan (Marianne) and Diane Moss (Chuck); and her children, Miriam (Terry) of Lyon, Mark Hughes (Melony), Paul Hughes (Lisa) and Steve Hughes. She is also survived by four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Smith Saal Chapel (190 Moravian Way Dr, Winston-Salem, NC 27106).
