She was predeceased by: her father Matthew Wentworth; her husband George McLeane Cherry Sr.; her son George McLean Cherry Jr.; her daughter-in-law Tiffany Jones Cherry; her siblings, Wanda Denise Jones, Elaine M. (Jacobs) and Donald N. Frazier; and her granddaughter Johnea Coleman.
She is survived by: her children, Rodney L. Jacobs (Dianette), Kenya C. Williams (Kerrmitt) and Monica C. Thompson (Bryant); and her stepdaughter Shannon Robinson (Lanell Moore). She is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
