With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Magdalene Williams Webster (Winston Salem, North Carolina), born in Florence, South Carolina, who passed away on September 14, 2023 at the age of 94. She was predeceased by : her parents, Eugene White and Annie Bell Bryant; her daughter Gloria Webster Jeffries; her granddaughter Cayla Russell; and her brother Earl Crockett.

She is survived by : her children, Sylvia Webster, Mazzini Webster Sr. and Jarvis Webster, Jr.; her grandchildren, Heather McCary (Wyman), Micha Jeffries, Kya Webster, Allana Jeffries Taylor (Wendell), Nikicha Smith, Timmirian Jones (Brian), Mazzini Webster Jr., Jarvis Webster III and Jahmon Webster; and her son-in-law Otto Harvey Jeffries. She is also survived by twelve great grandchildren.

Viewing was held on Thursday, September 21st 2023 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Russell Funeral Home, Inc. (822 Carl Russell Ave, Winston-Salem, NC 27101). Visitation was held on Friday, September 22nd 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Piney Grove Baptist Church (4715 Indiana Ave, Winston-Salem, NC 27106). A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 22nd 2023 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
