He is survived by: his wife Betsy Smith Lloyd; his sons, Michael (Shawna Lloyd Jr.), Ashton, Macey Lloyd and Parker (Elise Lloyd); his stepchildren, Juli, Henry Clark, Ashly, John Berta, Justin, Caroline Jackson, Candace and Jeremy Moody; his brother Richard Lloyd; and his brother-in-law Mike Smith (Denise Attardo). He is also survived by grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Moody Funeral Home (206 W Pine St, Mt Airy, NC 27030). A memorial service was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Moody Funeral Services (206 W Pine St, Mt Airy, NC 27030).
