He was predeceased by: his father Harold Queen; his brothers, Dwight Queen, H. L. Petrea and Keith Petrea; and his son Dustin Shearon.
He is survived by: his mother Enna Queen (Shew); his children, Brandy Saltzman (William) and Alex Queen (Sarah); and his brothers, Jesse Petrea, Duran Queen and Darrel Queen. He is also survived by aunt, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Mt. Carmel Methodist Church (4265 Ebert Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27127). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Mt. Carmel Church (4265 Ebert Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27127).
In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to Bread for the World in memory of Michael Queen.
