He is survived by: his parents, Michael Ray Shepherd and Shirley Jean Shepherd; his children, Michael VeShaun Shepherd Jr. and Micah Elize Shepherd; his siblings, Sarah D. Jackson, Donna A. Roseboro and Dion L. Shepherd; his siblings' children, Chontel C. Holman, Jordan N. Jackson, Christian L. Roseboro and Cory L. Roseboro; his great-nieces, Trinity N. Holman and Cianna L. Palacios; his great-nephew Dallas L. Mickel; and his close friends, David Cathcart and Dwoine Phillips. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins.
