He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert H. Gaddy and Margaret L. Hill Gaddy; and his brother Gregory L. Gaddy. He is survived by: his wife Dianne Campbell Gaddy; his children, Latasha Johnson Brown, Damon Lavonne Fields (Rosetta) of Durham, NC, Tashara Gaddy Melton, Milton Laron Gaddy and Jaylon Brian Gaddy; his grandchildren, Alexis, Abriana, Alex III, Imani, Damon Jr., Ajacia, Zakaria, Laron, Lauryn and Harmoni; his siblings, Wilbert L. Gaddy, Herbert S. Gaddy, Stephanie McCoy (Stephen) of Washington, NC, Alicia Gaddy and Darryl J. Gaddy (Audrey); and his aunt Carol Jackson of Richmond Virginia. He is also survived by sons and daughters; special cousins who were more like siblings; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Russell Funeral Home (822 Carl Russell Ave, Winston-Salem, NC 27101). Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Goodwill Baptist Church (541 Goodwill Rd, Clemmons, NC 27012). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
