She was predeceased by: her son Jamie Chriscoe; and her sister Carol Johnston. She is survived by: her husband Sam; her daughter Melanie Peters (Mark); her siblings, Debra Shearer and Bill Schlegel; and her grandchildren, Shyann, Jada and Alex. She is also survived by her family, friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Pinedale Christian Church (3395 Peters Creek Pkwy, Winston-Salem, NC 27127). A memorial service was held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
