He was predeceased by: his parents, John Roberts and Mamie Roberts; his former wife Bobbie Martin Roberts; and his sister Viola Roberts. He is survived by: his sons, Steve Roberts (Ann) of Belews Creek and Mark Roberts (Joan) of Winston-Salem; his wife Mary Roberts of Winston-Salem; and his sibling's children, Marty Minton, Ricky Minton, Donnie Minton, Robert Martin, Gayle Martin Canter and Libby Martin.
