He was predeceased by: his parents, James Leroy Marshall of Winston-Salem and Maude Higgins Marshall of Winston-Salem; and his sister Virginia Marshall Reichelt of Santa Fe, NM.. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Joan Riddle; his son Mark G. Marshall (Christine A. Marshall); his grandson Edward I. Marshall (Kristen Walker Marshall); his great grandchildren, Sydney, Monica and Becca; his granddaughter Carrie Vaughn (Rafe Vaughn); his great grandchildren, Thea, Blake and Rook; Peggy Riddle Taylor of Winston-Salem. He is also survived by one son, two grandchildren, their spouses and six great grandchildren.
