He was predeceased by: his parents, Roosevelt Eugene Wright and Verna Copeland Wright; and his siblings, Doris Clemmons, Wilma Davis and Michael Wright.
He is survived by: his wife Rita Wright; his daughters, Ericka Wright Lawson (Michael) of Kernersville and Natalie Vanessa Reed (Rickie) of West Virginia; his sister Thelma Reynolds; and his grandchildren, Joshua, Michael Jr. (Maddie), Graceann, Erik, Chloe and Noah. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
