Rebecca Collins Venable Obituary
We announce the death of Rebecca Collins Venable of Winston Salem, North Carolina, who passed away on September 11, 2026, at the age of 82. Rebecca will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Lee Collins and Frances Norman Collins. She is survived by: her husband Barry Joe Venable; her daughters, Tori Gastardi (Diego) and April Manuel (Keith); her granddaughters, Heather Millsaps (Ryan) and Bay Routh; her great grandchild Easton; her brother A. L. "Buddy" Collins (Rene); and her nieces and nephews, Whitney Hunter (Gray), David Collins (Gianna Rose), Salem and William.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel (3315 Silas Creek Pkwy, Winston-Salem, NC 27103). A memorial service was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Winston-Salem Rescue Mission.
