He was predeceased by: his parents, Allie Russell Evans and Lillian Turner Evans. He is survived by: his wife Delores Wrights Evans; his children, Paul Evans (Chris), Ronda Jones (Tim) and Dianna Ranson (Nelson); his stepson Anthony Evans (Sherry); his grandchildren, Amber Hoots (Malachi) and Josh Evans (Jessica); his brother Mike Evans (Ardith); his brother-in-law Jeff Wrights; and his nephew John Wrights (Andy). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Mausoleum Chapel (6135 Ridgecrest Point, Winston-Salem, NC 27103).
