He was predeceased by: his parents, George T. Appleyard and Edith Giles Appleyard; and his brother George. He is survived by: his sister Carol Schmucker (Bob) of Hawkinsville, GA; his nephews, Thomas Watkins (Dawn) of Marietta, GA and Greg Watkins (Tammie) of Chico, CA; and his wife Jayne Keith Appleyard.
