He is survived by : his wife Rebecca Langley; his children, Paul Langley of Winston-Salem and Belinda James (Robby) of Germanton; his brother George Langley (Thelma) of Lexington; his grandchildren, Michael James (Corteney), Jonathan James (Sydney), Brittany Misay (Ben) and Whitney Smith (Austin); his great grandchildren, Brody Cassell, McKenzie Smith, Cannon Smith and Aubrey Misay; his nephew Marvin Bentley; and his son-in-law Robby James (Sherry Melvin). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews; and many great friends.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Life Impact Church of God (5090 S Main St, Winston-Salem, NC 27107). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Forest Hill Memorial Park (1307 W Old Hwy 64, Lexington, NC 27295).
