He is survived by: his spouse Pegi Ann Sears Pike; his pet Jake; his children, Matt Pike (Anna Dale) and Sarah Pike Alexander (Jason Alexander); his grandchildren, Sam, Art Alexander, Jasper and Alice Pike; his sister Janet Hamrick; his father-in-law Jack Blunk; his siblings-in-law, Sandra, Pam, Patti, Annie, Bola, Mike, John and Tom; his caregiver Lynette Smith; David, Jill, Sarah and Joe.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at 90 S Main St, Marshall, NC 28753. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Free Range Brewing (2320 N Davidson St, Charlotte, NC 28205).
