He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Everett Mackie and Malene Bradley Mackie; his wife Phyllis; and his brother Larry Mackie. He is survived by: his sibling's children, Billy Duggins and Amy Duggins; and his great-niece Kaylee.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Oaklawn Memorial Gardens (3250 High Point Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27107).
