It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruby Zimmerman Gibson (Winston Salem, North Carolina), who passed away on January 1, 2026, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Roy and Rachel Sink Zimmerman; her husband Bill; and her brother Norman. She is survived by: her daughters, Catherine Draper (Tony), Alice Linville (Ron) and Ann Parlier (Keith); and her grandchildren, David Draper (Sarah), Mark Draper (Courtney), Diane Jenkins (Christian), Brent Bunn (Heather), Carrie Rinehart (Jeff), Ted Linville (Megan) and Aaron Linville (Amy). She is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren.
