Ruby Jean Proctor Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruby Jean Proctor of Winston Salem, North Carolina, who passed away on May 1, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Harrison Black, Sr. and Stella Pope Black; her husband William "Bob" Robert Proctor; and her siblings, Sam Jr., Carney, Bill, Ronda and Colleen.
She is survived by: her children, Mitch Proctor (Marchelle), Greg Proctor (Jamie) and Jeanne Nifong (Bobby). She is also survived by six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mt. Carmel Global Methodist Church, 4265 Ebert St., Winston-Salem, NC 27127.
