She was predeceased by: her parents, Roscoe Smith and Leva Billings Smith; her husband James Cromwell Taylor; and her daughter Dianne Lynn Taylor. She is survived by: her sons, Larry Taylor (Lauren) of Winston-Salem and Ray Eugene Nance; her granddaughters, Crystal Wagoner (Jeff) of Roaring River, Amanda Barlow (David) of Millers Creek, Amber Taylor of Winston-Salem and Tara Naylor (Chad) of Winston-Salem; her great grandchildren, Tara, Cole, Kayla, Breana, Madison, Keaton and Charley; her great great grandchild Paisleigh; and her friend Sallie Simpson.
