She was predeceased by: her mother Charity Nelson; her husband Calvin McQueen; her son Leroy Nelson; her son-in-law Thomas Leake; and her grandsons, Lamont Nelson and Eric Nelson.
She is survived by: her daughter Carolyn McQueen Leake; her daughter-in-law Lily Nelson; her sister Mary Fisher; and her grandchildren, Michael Nelson, Jeffrey Nelson, Michelle Leake, Lorraine Leake, Thomas Wiley Leake III and Samuel Leake. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
