It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharon Surber (Winston Salem, North Carolina), who passed away on October 21, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Beese and Ruth Ball Beese; and her husband Roy "Cecil" Surber. She is survived by: her children, Lonnie Surber (Myra) of Kernersville and Tammy Surber Simpson of Thomasville; her grandchildren, Alex Simpson (Mason Lynch) and Ashley Kennedy (Michael); her great grandchild Carmen Rose Kennedy; and her siblings-in-law, Tommy Surber (Pat), Rosa Mae Johnson, Dorothy Cox and Carolyn Surber.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the J. C. Green Funeral Home (10301 NC-109, Winston-Salem, NC 27107). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Jc Green & Sons Funeral Home (10301 NC-109, Winston-Salem, NC 27107).
