She was predeceased by: her parents, Otho Wooten and Bertha Wooten; her husband Hub; her siblings, Frances Miller and Charles Wooten; and her daughter Beverly Kim Childress.
She is survived by: her children, Vicki Berkeley (Kip), Larry Athan (Krista) and James Wesley Athan (Ashley); her grandchildren, Eric, Devin (Becky), Anne (Drew), Lindsay (Daniel), Michael (Michelle) and Ranger; and her sister Betty Brewer. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Olivet Moravian Church (2205 Olivet Church Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27106). A reception will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at the same location.
