He was predeceased by: his father George Vaught; and his siblings, Thomas Edgar Vaught, Ronald Wayne Vaught, Furman Dale Vaught and Tammy Vaught Haga.
He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Blevins Vaught of Winston-Salem; his daughters, Sidney Brooke Vaught and Bailey Marie Vaught of Winston-Salem; his siblings, Mike Vaught of Fort Chiswell, Gary (Lisa Vaught), Robert (Melissa Vaught), Scotty (Niki Vaught), Tracy (Gayle Vaught), Georgia Vaught of Fort Chiswell, Debbie (Curt Clemons) and Lisa Vaught of Wytheville; and his friends, Reed Blevins, Darrin, Caroline Blevins, Kim Blevins, David Stroupe, Karen Blevins and Scott Nichols. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
