He was predeceased by: his parents, Clay Harding Brewer and Nancy Frances James Brewer. He is survived by: his siblings, Wayne Brewer (Cindy) of Lumberton, NC, Beverly Whan (Mark) of Winston-Salem, NC and Alvin Brewer (Theresa) of Kernersville, NC.; his children, Lori Genevieve (Dan) of Boonville, NC, Matteson Brewer of Winston-Salem, NC, Stephanie Strucinski of Winston-Salem, NC, John Brewer (Marisol) of Puerto Rico and Annie Ruemker (John) of Bahama, NC; and his adoptive children, Ceana Legacki Strong, Thomas "Tommy" Legacki and Janet Danahey. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
