She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Henry, Lucy Bond, John and Eula Simon. She is survived by: her parents, Joe Simon and Lucienne Simon; her husband Peter Johnson; her children, Molly Johnson, Henry Johnson and Josey Johnson; her siblings, Teighlor March (Troy) and Arthur Simon (Meg); her nephews, Jackson, Brady and Louie; and her parents-in-law, Richard and Lydia Johnson.
A funeral service was held on Friday, February 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Mount Tabor United Methodist Church (3543 Robinhood Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27106). After a courageous battle with long covid, may she finally rest in peace.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St Jude Children's Research Hospital.
