He was predeceased by: his parents, Aaron Smith and Eva Kennedy (Banks). He is survived by: his wife Joni Craven Smith; his children, Jason R. Smith (Shea) of Wallburg, Ty Smith (Kimberly) of Wallburg and Heather Smith Wenzel (Glen) of Wallburg; his sisters, Priscilla "Joyce" Groseclose (Bob) of Clemmons and Phillis Tuttle (Mike) of Kernersville; and his grandchildren, Delaney Smith of Wallburg, Madie Smith of Wallburg, Haven Smith of Wallburg, Molly Smith of Wallburg, Jason Wenzel of Wallburg, Jordan Wenzel of Wallburg, Easton Smith of Wallburg and Maci Smith of Wallburg. He is also survived by niece and nephews as well as extended family.
