With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Theodore Reuben Wainer of Winston Salem, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 30, 2025 at the age of 87. He was predeceased by: his parents, Moses Wainer (Papa Mo) and Bess Wainer. He is survived by: his son David (Alison); his wife Betty Wainer of Statesville; his daughter Stephanie; his grandchild Griffin; his brothers, Herbert (Peggy) and Eric (Carol); his siblings' children, Debbie (Craig), Nancy (Clark) and Sam (Heidi); and his former wife Sondra.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Sinai Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Temple Emanuel in Winston-Salem, or to the Gordon Hospice House in Statesville, in his memory.
