Thomas Ervin Yates Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 20, 2025, at the age of 77, Thomas Ervin Yates (Winston Salem, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Rodgers Yates and Louise Ervin Yates; his brother Ted Yates; and his grandson Elijah Darian Lahey. He is survived by: his daughter Porsche Leigh Lahey; and his grandchildren, Alexis Lahey, Mason Dunnigan and AuBrianna Bingman. He is also survived by close friend "Snuffy"; and many dear friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Salem Funeral Home (2951 Reynolda Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27106).
