He was predeceased by: his parents, Alma and Avery Roberson of Surry. He is survived by: his close friend Peggie Lewis Roberson; his son Joseph Lee (Sonya); his grandson Jonathan Roberson; his son Thomas William (Deena Roberson); his brother Don Roberson; and his uncle Ted Holyfield.
